Online therapy with a Rajasthani-speaking counsellor

Some things are easier to say in the language you grew up with. Talk to a warm, qualified counsellor who understands Rajasthani, no translating your feelings, no explaining your culture. Online, private, and available wherever you are in the world.

If you've been searching for a Rajasthani-speaking psychologist, counsellor or therapist, you're in the right place. I'm Shagoon Maurya, a registered counsellor and psychotherapist (ACA Level 2, PACFA), and I offer online therapy for people who would rather speak in Rajasthani than translate themselves into English.

Why therapy in your own language helps

When you can speak in your mother tongue, you don't have to hunt for the right English word for a feeling, or explain the weight behind a family expectation. That frees up energy for the actual work, and deeper, more honest conversations tend to happen sooner.

No translation gap

Express yourself fully, nuance, emotion and all, in the language that comes naturally.

Cultural understanding

Family duty, community reputation, generational differences, I understand the context you're navigating.

Judgment-free space

Whatever you bring, it's held with warmth and complete confidentiality.

Available worldwide

Online sessions across time zones, for the Rajasthani and Marwari community anywhere.

What I can help with

Anxiety and stress, low mood and depression, self-esteem, relationship and family conflict, marriage and in-law pressures, cultural identity, and the strain of building a life between two worlds. Whether you were raised speaking Rajasthani or want to reconnect through it, you're welcome here.

खम्मा घणी। You are not alone in this journey.

A note on titles

Many people search for a "psychologist" when what they're really looking for is someone qualified, warm and safe to talk to. In Australia, psychologist is a protected title reserved for AHPRA-registered practitioners. I practise as a counsellor and psychotherapist, registered with the Australian Counselling Association (Level 2) and PACFA, with postgraduate study in Counselling & Psychotherapy from the University of Adelaide. You can see my full qualifications here.

We begin with a free 15-minute consultation so you can see how it feels, no pressure, no obligation.
